Clean up before starting again
After the ending, return to the Crevice to finish remaining content in the current journey. When ready, interact with the Blade Phantom to begin New Game+.
Starting the next journey resets mission progression. Post-ending mission access does not mean the previous journey remains available after entering NG+.
Carryover and resets
Character progression, skills and held equipment carry into the next journey, while mission progression restarts.
Sort equipment, retain useful resistance accessories and list unfinished collectibles or achievements before proceeding. Check mission-stage objectives while the current journey remains accessible.
Mission unlocks and character growth are different kinds of progress. This guide has not verified every key and quest item and does not promise exception-free carryover of all items.
Three different options
New Game+ restarts missions with carried character progression.
Ultimate Challenge opens from the title screen after completing the game once, using mode-provided equipment and separate rules.
Hardcore unlocks after an Expert journey and is selected through New Game on the main menu. It restricts difficulty changes, Phantom Form, Spirit of Advocacy and Oksana attribute changes. Reassess normal NG+ advice accordingly.
Before you confirm
Finish currently accessible missions and collectibles, recording anything still missing.
Save reliable gear and skill presets, then organize storage and crafting materials.
Confirm NG+ when ready to replay mission progression. Choose Ultimate Challenge if your immediate goal is a separate boss sequence.
