In Night Garden, learn to save and use oil bottles before continuing to the Groundskeeper. 1. Early garden exploration and the save point
Find the tent in the early garden section to save your game and open the tent menu.
2. Oil-bottle instructions and bubble platforms
Oil bottles relight the match and briefly strengthen attacks. Refill them at save points before continuing your exploration.
Continue through the bubbles and higher platforms, checking routes on both levels.
Pick up the trinket slot along the route. Do not confuse it with the heart-shaped container, the higher glowing object or the Hunter's Pendant.
3. Encounter the Groundskeeper
The Groundskeeper encounter follows the oil-bottle tutorial. Check your supplies before the fight.
Pink petal-shaped projectiles appear around the Groundskeeper. Watch their coverage during the fight.
After defeating the Groundskeeper, continue toward Hunter's Cabin for the next exploration segment.
4. Later exploration: the cabin and Looter
Speak with Looter in the cabin segment and continue to the flaming-vessel tutorial.
Throw a flaming vessel, then strike it in midair to detonate it. Practise the action before continuing through the cabin.
The B prompt reflects the creator's controller binding at that moment, not a keyboard or custom-binding instruction.
5. The hanging cages and Hunter's Pendant
The cabin route combines hanging cages, bubbles and spikes. Watch for safe footholds and changes in elevation.
Obtain the Hunter's Pendant. It extends the healing timing window rather than increasing maximum health.
6. The local map and return to the garden
Open the map to review explored rooms and branches, then check routes you may have missed.
After the cabin tutorial, return to the garden and inspect the route near the purple obstacle.
Bird spirit locations
- Bird spirit 1：From the start tent, go up, left and down the shaft. Follow the bubbles to the challenge room and clear it.
- Bird spirit 2：Use Slingshot to reach the bird statue just left and above the bottom tent.
- Bird spirit 3：From the top tent, travel left through the edge of Lookout Tower, descend and open the gate above the Well entrance. Hover is required.
